This is a 1-on-1 workshop where you bring a manual operations, finance, or admin process you want to automate, and you leave with a clear understanding of your different automation options and at least one clear plan for how to automate it.
With a process workshop, you get...
- A clear plan for how your process can be automated.
- Expert knowledge about pitfalls or things to look out for, both when building your automation and for long-term maintenance.
- A list of tools or skills that will be involved in building your automation.
- Answers to any questions you have about your automation or process.

What you get
You will always leave with the following:
- A detailed diagram mapping out how your current process works, including a clear picture of how your data is moving through your system right now.
- A clear plan for one or more ways to automate the manual process you bring.
- A proposal for how much it will cost to have me automate it, with a price I'll commit to even if the project ends up being more complex than expected.
- Either a proposal for a project that will pay for itself in 12 months or less, or else a clear recommendation for how to get the highest value from automation in your situation.
- A $100 discount for any proposal accepted within 60 days after the date of your workshop.
- A recording of everything we say in your workshop so you can refer back to any details you want later. NOTE: I do not use AI transcription or note-taking, but you're welcome to bring your own AI note-taker if you want.
What it costs
- $100 fee, due when you schedule.
- 60 minutes for the workshop itself
- Optional: 30-120 minutes of prep time, to gather and send me information before we meet
Note: the more information I receive in advance, the more productive the worshop can be.
What we'll actually do
A rough approximation, minute-by-minute, of how we'll spend our time in your process workshop:
- 5 minutes - set aside for mandatory tech debugging (just kidding, but there if we need it)
- 15-20 minutes - walk through the process as it stands now, with clarifying questions to flesh out the missing details
- 5-10 minutes - estimate the scope of the problem (we can skip this step and save time if you fill out this calculator and send me the results during registration or before we meet)
- 25-30 minutes - map out possible techniques to use to automate your process (building on the diagram I prepped of your existing process), and evaluate which solution is the best fit for your individual situation
- 5-10 minutes - review next steps and address any final questions you may have about your process or any proposed automation strategies
After the meeting: Get an email with every answer from every step of this workshop (including a recording of our conversation), so you have everything you need to confidently take the next step towards automating your process.
